Questions? Questions!

How can questions help you to change - yourself or a situation?

Do you know how to ask, when to ask, what to ask?

While going from childhood to adulthood we all un-learn how to ask questions. Many factors play a role: school, college, an authoritarian role model to just name a few reasons.

This is a 60 minute one-on-one phone seminar with Frank Kanu with a 30 minute follow up call a few days later.

All staff.

  • Experience how to be asked without feeling interrogated.
  • Learn what questions to ask and when to ask them.
  • Learn which question will lead you forward and which questions stop or slow down.

Effective people skills

Being able to quickly and effectively create rapport with others helps co-workers at all levels to be more co-operative towards us. In fact, knowing how to motivate them is one of the more important needed skills when managing people. Be it at home, in school, in sports or when running a business.

Do you know:
  • How to recognize each person's style?
  • How to help them to develop their own style?
  • How to communicate effectively - following their style?
  • How to make them talk?

Target group

All staff.

Objectives

Recognizing the differences in people allows us to better understand them. This seminar teaches how to group people into one of four "styles". By developing behavioral flexibility, students are able to gain rapport and co-operation quickly and easily.

  • How to recognize each style.
  • How to identify their own style.
  • What each style likes and dislikes.
  • How to behave towards each of the styles.

Time management

"Time is the greatest teacher of all. What a shame that she kills all her students."
--Curt Goetz

There is nothing in this world as valuable as time. Once given you can never get it back.

Yet we all suffer from not having enough. Or is it just that the priority isn't high enough?

So how do you manage your time?

  • Are you going with the concepts described in the tirades of books out there?
  • Do you prioritize - dropping everything that does not have a priority high enough?
  • Did you develop your own system?
  • Do you delegate?
  • Or - do you just let it go :) ... ?

And how do you manage distractions?

Target group

All staff.

Objectives

  • Priotize work
  • Develop your own working system
  • How and when to delegate work and responsibilities
  • How to manage distractions
