The Twisted Mind of Copyright Thieves

Stealing content is one thing—but being caught and then complaining?

Please take a look at Ada’s posting Sigh… another lifter in which she talks about a person who stole her image.

One would think that the right thing to do is to actually apologize.

Apparently that is not true in our world anymore.

The person who stole has put up this notice now:
Please excuse the black ugly words written over top of my Virginia Tech tribute. I have no idea how someone could have the heart to do this nor do I understand HOW they did it. I am working with eBay to find out who and they will be removing it. What a fallen world we live in!

WTF?

You are stealing and then you complain that you have been caught?

You scream for the authorities?

What do you expect from e-bay—to punish the copyright holder—so that you can steal?

You are right Displaced Victorian—what a twisted world in which someone steals and then asks for protection to be allowed to steal even more!?!

This is the more disgusting as this e-bay seller a-displaced-victorian has a a lot of other copyrights on their page.

Displaced Victorian—just in case you need a friendly note:
You are a dumbass thief and you deserve what you get.
You suck—big time!

Copyright laws are there to protect from thiefs like you—not the other way around.

    Dang!

What is her problem? She stole the stuff - not you!

Unfortunately those that steal always think they are right.

I just added a question - but it does not seem it shows up.

How disgusting that someone tells the seller to complain to ebay and the seller agrees. Displaced Victorian, you are a thief for crying out loud! Copyright laws protect the copyright, not the thief!

Didn’t I comment on Ada’s posting that there will be a lot of excuses:

No one should have been able to come onto my auction page and post the nasty comment in black lettering over top of the VA Tech memorial graphic.
Well, since you stole the image and it’s not hosted by you

Whoever posted the nasty message, in my mind, is the one who should be apologizing.
There we go: You steal and the person you stole from has to apologize.

    What a looser!
